Dr. Soheil Saadat, President and CEO Dr. Soheil Saadat, President and Chief Executive Officer of Prodiance Corporation, is responsible for charting the company’s global course. Soheil formed Prodiance in mid-2005 after more than 25 years of software engineering experience and is a pioneer in information management and compliance software development. In 1990, Soheil founded Scientific Software, Inc, (SSI) and under his direction, SSI has become a world leader in the development, sale and support of chromatography and scientific data management systems and compliance software solutions for the FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11 regulation. Soheil founded Prodiance with the maturity of SSI’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution, which is used today in 9 of the Top 10 pharmaceutical and biotech organizations throughout the world. Soheil holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University.
Mark Mullins, Vice President of Engineering and CTO Mark brings over 20 years of software engineering and development experience to his role of vice president of engineering and chief technology officer. Prior to joining Prodiance, Mark was director of technology at Agilent Technologies, where he helped spearhead the development of market leading data management and regulatory compliance solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Prior to Agilent Technologies, Mark served over 10 years as vice president of technology for Scientific Software. He also held senior management and engineering positions at Varian Oncology Systems, Perinatal Health, and 3Net Systems. Mark holds dual computer science and mathematics degrees from Augustana College.
Eric Perry, Vice President of Marketing Eric brings more than 19 years of industry experience to his role as vice president of marketing, communications and product management operations for Prodiance. Eric has been with Prodiance since the inception, and has had a direct impact on creating the Prodiance brand, launching the company's spin-off from parent company Scientific Software, developing strategic partnerships, and enabling expansion into new markets. Prior to joining Prodiance, Eric was vice president of marketing for Enterprise Content Management at Scientific Software, and has held senior management and executive positions in marketing and product management with EMC, Documentum, Vignette Corporation, OnDisplay and the General Electric Company. Eric is a veteran of the US Air Force, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Santa Clara University.
Jan Pruis, Vice President of Sales, EMEA Jan Pruis is Vice President of Sales for EMEA and brings more than 18 years of consultative sales and business development experience with leading global organizations to Prodiance. Prior to joining Prodiance, Jan served as general manager of Europe for Scientific Software, Inc. where he delivered turnkey data management solutions for regulatory compliance applications within the life sciences market. Jan has also held senior sales management positions with Nalco Chemical and Aspen Technology where he managed sales and implementation teams introducing breakthrough technologies. Jan holds a Masters of Science degree in chemistry from Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
Dale Young, Vice President of Sales, Americas Dale Young is vice president of sales for the Americas at Prodiance Corporation, and has over 20 years experience delivering technology solutions for global organizations across highly-regulated industries, including financial, telecommunications, biotech, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing. Dale has successfully delivered turn-key solutions to industry leaders such as Wachovia, Dell, Royal Bank of Canada, US Cellular, the Federal Home Loan Banks, Baxter, ABN-Amro, Procter & Gamble, and GlaxoSmithKline. His focus is in building long-term partnerships with customers to understand business needs, driving key initiatives to meet those needs, and delivering comprehensive solutions with exceptional customer service. Prior to Prodiance, Dale was regional sales director at Scientific Software, and launched start-up Intralogix, which was later acquired by SciQuest.
Michael Hoye, Senior Director, Enterprise Risk Services Mr. Hoye is Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Services for Prodiance Corporation. He has 25 years of experience in accounting, financial process improvement, project management and professional services. Prior to joining Prodiance, Mike was the global Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Financial End User Application Risk Services at Jefferson Wells International, where he developed the firm's service delivery methodology and was instrumental in working with Prodiance to develop world class spreadsheet diagnostic tools. Mike has been presenter on numerous webinars, roundtables, and industry speaking engagements including the IIA and ISACA in front of national and international audiences since 2006, and has published several whitepapers on the topic of end user application controls. Prior to joining Jefferson Wells, Mike was Director of Accounting Operations and Financial Reporting at Pepsi Cola General Bottlers, an international producer and distributor of Pepsi products.
Greg Shwec, Director, Business Development Greg Shwec is director of business development at Prodiance Corporation, and brings over 15 years of technology and regulatory compliance industry experience to his role. Greg’s focus is on expanding partnerships with leading audit firms and increasing adoption of the Prodiance Enterprise Spreadsheet Manager system within insurance, banking and capital markets. Prior to Prodiance, Greg was in charge of alliances at ClusterSeven, Inc. and led enterprise sales at Cimcon Software. He also held business development and marketing management positions at Griffith Microscience, Roche Diagnostics, Biomerieux, and BD Bioscience. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
Joe McGough, Director, East Coast Joe McGough is regional director at Prodiance Corporation for the East Coast US region, and has over 20 years experience delivering enterprise software solutions within global organizations across the pharmaceutical, biotech, food, chemical, petrochemical, financial services, and utilities markets. Prior to Prodiance, Joe held senior level sales and marketing positions at Scientific Software and Agilent Technologies. Prior to Agilent, Joe spent 16 years as a senior technologist and scientist at Glaxo SmithKline. Joe is a published author in many scientific journals as well as co-author of ECAS: Environmental Cost Analysis System published by Van Nostrand Reinhold.
Jeff Kahsen, Customer Solutions Manager Jeff Kahsen brings over 13 years of client services experience to his role as customer solutions manager at Prodiance. Jeff is responsible for post-sales activities including consulting services, education services, and customer support. He has successfully delivered technology solutions to market leaders across a broad array of industries including financial services, health care, high tech, communications, manufacturing, food service, and higher education. Prior to joining Prodiance, Jeff held consulting management positions at Onyx Software, a CRM software and service provider, and served as a leading market research analyst for the software services sector at INPUT. Jeff holds a business economics degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Steve Kraynak, Customer Solutions Manager Steve Kraynak brings over 12 years of technology experience to his role as customer solutions manager at Prodiance. Steve’s customer focus, technical and leadership skills have led to many successful implementations, including large scale deployments in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to joining Prodiance, Steve held a variety of quality-related positions over an 11 year career at Merck and Co., Inc., where he was instrumental in successfully implementing and managing the laboratory information management system for the vaccine manufacturing division of the company. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in the biological sciences from the College of New Jersey, which includes studies at the Queensland University of Technology, in Brisbane, Australia.
