Prodiance Raises the Bar for Enterprise Scalability
San Ramon, Calif. – April 15, 2009 – Prodiance Corporation, a leading provider of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions, announced today a new release of the Prodiance Enterprise Spreadsheet Manager (ESM) system with significant performance and scalability enhancements. The new release allows the Prodiance ESM system to easily process complex spreadsheets exceeding hundreds of MBs in size with millions of formulas.
In today’s ever changing business environment, organizations are creating incredibly complex spreadsheets to support mission critical processes such as derivatives trading, insurance operations, energy trading, budgeting and forecasting, and closing the books. Such complex spreadsheets often contain embedded macros and Visual Basic code, special functions, integrations with ERP systems, links to other spreadsheets and data sources, pivot tables, encryption, and hidden data. This complexity combined with the rapid adoption of Microsoft Office 2007 and newer file formats is further increasing file sizes and placing new demands on Spreadsheet Management and Control software.
